Phyllis Randall and Who’s Next in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District?
With the announcement yesterday by Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton that she will not run for re-election in 2024 because of a health issue, there will be an open congressional seat in Virginia’s 10th congressional district in 2024. The district includes Ashburn, Leesburg, Manassas, Warrenton, Dulles, The Plains, Purcellville, Haymarket and Gainesville.
The obvious front runner for VA10 is Phyllis Randall who is the current Chair of the Loudoun Board of Supervisors. Randall has been elected countywide in Loudoun and has received over 63,000 votes in her 2019 victory over John Whitbeck.
