Richmond Free Press: Jim Jacobs, the station’s current owner through Radio Richmond, LLC, confirmed that the $500,000 deal to sell WREJ 990 AM/101.3 FM to Relevant Radio is moving forward. Annual Tucker Family Commemorations Before Departure to Angola
HAMPTON, VA — Before leaving for Angola for a week long trip sponsored by former Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax, the famous Tucker Family of Hampton, relatives of the first descendants of Africans who arrived in Hampton in 1619, gathered at the family’s cemetery in Hampton. They were joined by students from John Marshall High School in Richmond and the former Lt. Governor. The group traveled to Angola on Saturday, August 26.

COVID-19 Cases Increase in Virginia
Richmond Times Dispatch: As the new school year gets underway and autumn approaches, data from the Virginia Department of Health indicates there has been an uptick in COVID-19 cases across the state.
