FOIA Lawsuit Filed by Richmond City Hall Employee
A whistleblower has filed a lawsuit filed by a recently fired former Richmond City employee alleges in a lawsuit that city of Richmond officials regularly violate Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act.
The whistleblower, Connie Clay, alleges in her lawsuit that she was fired after reporting FOIA violations. She is suing City Hall employees Laura Drewry and Petula Burks for $250,000 and reinstatement of her job.
