WaPo/Schar Poll #Youngkin and #DEI, Black Unemployment Lowest in 50 Years, AG Miyares Re-Entry Event in Chesapeake

NEW POLL. WaPo/Shar poll of 1,002 registered Virginia voters from March 21-26, 2023 shows Gov. Youngkin at 46 percent approval for “ensuring equal treatment of racial and ethnic groups…”

WaPo notes that Youngkin’s, “approval mark with Black voters — 35 percent — is much higher than the 13 percent support he received from this group in the 2021 election, according to exit polling.” That exit polling in 2021 showed that Youngkin had one of the higher percentages of support from Black voters, and Democrat Terry McAuliffe on of the lowest, in recent memory.
