Virginia NAACP Calls Out Anti-Inclusion Push by Miyares, MAGA as Youngkin Has Black History Event
After a week of in-your-face anti-Black talk and branding low standards and lack of “merit” to diversity from the Trump White House, the Virginia NAACP reacted to Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares following their lead.
On Jan. 29, Miyares joined a group of Republican attorneys general in an effort to pressure Costco “to end all unlawful discrimination imposed” by the retailer’s diversity, equity and inclusion policies. The letter was sent to Costco CEO Ron Vachris and cited President Donald Trump’s executive order signed on Jan. 21, 2025.
