Street Renamed After Senator Lucas

During a ceremony on Sept. 29 in Portsmouth, a street near the new Rivers Casino in Portsmouth was named in honor of State Senator Louise Lucas. The outdoor street signing unveiling featured Lucas, Rep. Bobby Scott, State Senator Mamie Locke and Portsmouth Vice Mayor Lisa Lucas-Burke. The I.C. Norcom marching band also played at the ceremony.
