RTD: Stoney Administration Cuts Off Access to Public Spending Database
Richmond Times Dispatch: The Richmond Times-Dispatch on Friday reported that Richmond’s payment register — a comprehensive public log of city spending — had not been modified since 2019 despite language in city code mandating monthly updates to the database.
Now, the database has disappeared entirely.
Currently, it is hidden behind a webpage that reads “sorry, we can’t let you in here. You don’t have the security clearance to view this page.” Richmond Chief Administrative Officer Lincoln Saunders confirmed that the database was “no longer publicly available.” READ ENTIRE

RICHMOND CITY COUNCIL FORUM. The Richmond Crusade for Voters will host a forum featuring candidates running for Richmond City Council. The forum begins at 6pm and will take place at Third Street Bethel AME at 614 North Third Street in Richmond.
