Senate Contests Featuring Pam Garner, Clint Jenkins and Trish White-Boyd Have High Early Voting Totals
Early Vote for State Senate: Who’s Tops in Turnout?
Senate District 26. A look at early voting for State Senate races reveals that the very red district featuring the race between retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Pam Garner (SD26), and State Senator Ryan McDougle (SD26) has the highest early voting turnout (as of Oct. 5th) so far. Early voting in Virginia started on September 22.

Black State Senate candidates Clint Jenkins (SD17) and Trish White Boyd (SD04) also have high turnout in the Senate Districts they are competing in. Jenkins’ Senate District 17 Senate race overlaps with a competitive House races between Democrat Nadarius Clark and Republican Michael Dillender. House of Delegates candidate Mary Person also is in a high turnout location in the first two weeks of early voting.
