Navy Pearl Harbor Hero and I.C. Norcom Graduate Honored in Portsmouth
This morning in Portsmouth the community came out to honor the life David Walker who was in the U.S. Navy. Walker was killed on Dec. 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor. Walker was a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School.

Pharrell Williams Performs at Re-Opening of Notre Dame
Virginia Beachβs Pharrell Williams sang his mega-hit song Happy as part of the celebration in Paris at the CathΓ©drale Notre-Dame de Paris re-opening. The song, which was released ten years ago, has 1.3 billion views on Pharrellβs YouTube channel. He was joined during his performance in Paris by a choir.
On April 15, 2019, a fire broke out in the roof space of Notre-Dame Cathedral. Parts of the structure, first erected in 1163, collapsed and most of the roof was destroyed.
