Cowboys vs. Commanders Game

Several of Virginia’s power players were seen yesterday at FedEx Field at the last game of the regular NFL season as the Dallas Cowboys took on (and defeated…) the Washington Commanders. Sen. L. Louise Lucas, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and State Senator Aaron Rouse.

The game was the last for Commander’s Head Coach Ron Rivera as the expected announcement came this morning that he would be fired and a new management group will take control of the Commanders in 2024. Will there also be a stadium move? That is likely to be discussed during this session of the Virginia General Assembly.

Campaign Finance Reform Op-Ed

Alpha, Delta Events in Hampton

In Hampton this weekend, the 39th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast took place this weekend along with the Delta Beta Lambda Chapter breakfast. Rev. Dr. Freddie Haynes addressed the Alpha Phi Alpha event. The omni-present Congressman Bobby Scott attended both events.
