175 Percent Increase: Black Women Voter Registration Spikes
Yesterday, CBS News reported that voter registration is up 176% specifically among young Black women and up 98 percent among Black women overall since Vice President Kamala Harris entered the race for The White House.
The report also included an increase of voter registration of young Latina women of up to 150 percent. The spikes in voter registration since Harris entered the race have reminded some of the level of excitement from the electorate in 2008 when Barack Obama was running his race for President.
