VA-07: Democrat Margaret Franklin Raises $241,000; Bailey $193,497; Sewell $71,345

CD7 Q1 Fundraising. Last week, Democrat Margaret Franklin announced that she has raised $241,000 for her campaign for Virginia’s 7th congressional district. Virginia’s 7th is an open seat as Rep. Abigail Spanberger leaves Congress after three terms. Margaret Franklin’s campaign statement says she is “the second highest fundraiser in the race” after Eugene Vindman, who leads the field with $1.7 million.
