Casino: Paul Goldman Wins in Court as Federal Judge Orders Board of Elections to Deliver Voter List
Richmond attorney and activist Paul Goldman wins in Federal Court on Voter Lists. Activate Virginia: Federal U.S. District Court Judge Hannah Lauck today ordered the Virginia Board of Elections to give Paul Goldman the Richmond voter list. Goldman, who runs the anti-casino referendum committee No Means No, has been trying to get the list since August. Yesterday, it was finally delivered.

Today in Petersburg - Adams release: With less than three weeks to go until election, Senator Tim Kaine is coming to Petersburg tomorrow, Saturday, October 21st, to encourage volunteers before they go knock doors in the 82nd House District. The support from Kaine—who has served as a senator, governor, and lieutenant governor for the Commonwealth, and the Democratic Nominee for Vice President in 2016— shows the momentum behind Pope Adams, just weeks after the Richmond Times-Dispatch called this Virginia’s “closest legislative race.”
In response to the water main break that disrupted early voting, Petersburg has two new early voting times that have been added: Saturday, Oct. 21 from 8 am - 12 pm and Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 5 - 9 pm. The event is intended to encourage working families to take advantage of these new times to cast their ballot.
