EP40 - Jeffries in Virginia. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries made stops in Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Prince William over the last five days in an effort to assist Democrats in close races that will decide control of the U.S. House of Representatives
The man who could be the next Speaker of the U.S. House if Democrats win back the majority, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, campaigned at three Black owned businesses in Suffolk, Virginia alongside Missy Cotter Smasal who is the Democratic nominee running against Republican incumbent Jen Kiggans.
On October 27 Jeffries stood alongside Speaker of the Virginia House Don Scott and others in support of Democrat Eugene Vindman in Virginia’s seventh congressional district.
