Drama in Portsmouth as City Council Fires City Manager Angel Jones
In a dramatic and intense meeting on May 24th that had all of Hampton Roads buzzing, the Portsmouth City Council has voted to fire City Manager Angel Jones. Jones had been in the position of City Manager for only one year. The vote to fire her was close: 4-3.
