2025 LG Race: Senator Aaron Rouse Raises $450,000 in First Half of 2024
ROUSE’s BIG NUMBERS FOR LT. GOVERNOR 2025. Senator Aaron Rouse released his first fundraising numbers as he competes to be the next Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. According to his campaign, Rouse’s campaign committee has raised more than $450,000 with more than $410,000 in the bank.
The totals are the most money raised by a Lieutenant Governor’s campaign in Virginia at this point in the campaign cycle. Senator Rouse has received a number of endorsements across Virginia. Almost 90% of his donations are based in Virginia.
“I have received donations from my family, neighbors and everyday Virginians who believe that change is coming in 2025. Together, we believe Virginia can truly be a place of opportunity – where a kid that grew up in public housing can beat the odds, work hard and become the next Lieutenant Governor of Virginia,” Senator Aaron Rouse said in a statement today.
“This is just the first benchmark of a long campaign ahead. However, our showing on this report is proof that our campaign is growing in momentum and can win back the Lt. Governorship in 2025,” he added.
Rouse’s endorsement for Lt. Governor include Virginia Senate President Pro Tempore L. Louise Lucas, Senate Democratic Caucus Chair Mamie Locke, Senator Angelia Williams-Graves and Delegates Cliff Hayes Jr. Candi King, Delores McQuinn, Alex Askew, Bonita Anthony, Nadarius Clark, Phil Hernandez and Delegate Michael Feggans among several others. State Senator Rouse has won the endorsements of the most members of the Virginia General Assembly and Virginia Legislative Black Caucus than any other candidate in the 2025 Lieutenant Governor’s race.
