Trump’s 3 Obsessions: Killing Oversight, Stealing Tax Money and Revenge
Almost every executive order that President Trump has signed since Jan. 20, 2025 falls into three categories:
1. Killing oversight
2. Stealing money (once they kill oversight)
3. Revenge
Incredibly, an American president has handed over the power of his office to a Pretorian born Afrikaner who has massive conflicts of interest no one appears positioned to stop. One of the clear results of Trump’s desire to cut the federal workforce and run everything with artificial intelligence is: Job loss in Virginia.

The question becomes: Are Republicans in Virginia’s congressional delegation going to sit back and say nothing and watch the Commonwealth’s economy be destroyed in the process? Virginia has over 170,000 federal employees not counting the contractors and subcontractors.
So far, only the Democrats in the congressional delegation have pushed back and expressed concern about the current state of play. This week, Trump’s White House is expected to dismantle the Department of Education. Rep. Jen Kiggans and Rep. Rob Wittman have marketed themselves as “moderates” but there’s no evidence their moderation will be used to ask basic questions about job loss and the impact of the Trump Administration’s decisions on Virginia’s economy. A reduction of the federal workforce is likely to be felt not only in Northern Virginia.

Since Trump has given the mandate of his power to an Afrikaner who apparently believes this is all a joke — as indicated by his social media communications — it’s likely that the grassroots pushback will be considerable. Republicans in Virginia currently remain unresponsive about what is happening — at least so far. The first members of the GOP who will deal with the political blowback will be on the ballot this November — starting with Republican Lt. Governor Winsome Sears who is running for Governor.
Phones rang non-stop after the Trump Administration cut off the funding portals to recipients of Medicare programs. U.S. House Republicans were privately responsive — but their public presentation remains blindly loyal to Donald Trump. The numbers of the GOP members of the Virginia delegation are below:
Rep. Jen Kiggans - (202) 225-4215
Rep. Rob Wittman - (202) 225-4261
Rep. Ben Cline - (202) 225-5431
Rep. Morgan Griffith - (202) 225-3861
Rep. John McGuire - (202) 225-4711
Tonight, Virginia’s U.S. Senator’s Mark Warner and Tim Kaine will hold a telephone town hall at 6pm. On Feb 6, Congressman Bobby Scott held a telephone town hall with close to a 1,000 people calling in. Many Virginians who spoke with Rep. Scott were concerned about threats to social security.
On Feb. 8, Rep. Jennifer McClellan was the main speaker on a 250 person zoom call for the 4th district Democrats. Rep. McClellan will hold a telephone town hall this Thursday, Feb. 13 from 6pm to 7:30pm. The dial in number will be 833.746.0071.

Protest Vought's Effort to Dismantle the CFPB
CFPB Headquarters at 1700 G St., NW, Washington DC
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has been ordered to cease all operations. The CFPB works to strengthen safeguards on mortgages, credit cards, loans and other consumer finance. It has returned literally billions of dollars to American consumers who have been harmed by illegal practices by the financial services industry. American consumers are now unprotected from serious financial harm.

Protect Voting Rights
Tell your Congressperson to vote NO on the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill. The bill requires voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship at the time of registration, but citizenship is hard to prove. Experience with a similar bill in Arizona has shown that American citizens end up being blocked from voting. Citizenship is already a requirement to vote, but hard to prove. Nearly 21 million voting-age US citizens do not have a current driver’s license. Another 28.6 million have a license, but it does not have both their current address & current name. (Required by this law)
