Birthday Event at the Living Museum in Newport News

At a very crowded birthday celebration at the Living Museum in Newport News on April 27, Congressman Bobby Scott was joined by friends, elected officials across Hampton Roads, community leaders and many others.

The annual birthday celebration once again included a speech by the Congressman on what is often ignored by mainstream media: What Democrats have done for middle class Americans on the federal level. But most of the evening was spent enjoying an open bar and stellar catering.

Rep. Scott is the most senior Democrat on the U.S. House Education and Labor Committee and has been able to move millions to his district for various projects related to transportation, health care and the environment. Rep. Scott is the Dean of the Virginia delegation and the most prolific member in terms of legislation passed into law.
