CHESAPEAKE, VA — 26 DAYS. With 26 days to election day, the events are non-stop. Particularly on the weekends. On Oct. 9th, Sunday voting in Suffolk occurred for the first time and State Senator Jennifer McClellan made stops in Suffolk to promote Sunday voting.
On Oct. 8, Senator Lionell Spruill held his campaign kickoff for State Senate District 18. The 2023 primary will have Spruill running against State Senator Louise Lucas unless someone changes districts.
